March 2024 Update

G'day Mates!

In recent weeks here on the West Coast of North America, we've been blessed with a rejuvenating dump of snow. The season feels like it's off to a fresh start again, and we couldn't be more stoked to shred some pow in the backcountry (while being extra cautious due to the high avalanche danger in much of BC at the moment!). The PL1 is perfect for maximizing those low risk powder laps when the conditions are a little spicy.

In this Update:

PL1 available in Australia and New Zealand - while supplies last!

In case you missed it, the PL1 is now available in Australia and New Zealand! We're very excited to be supplying the PL1 to our friends in the southern hemisphere, with winter down under just a few months away.

Please note that for all shipments outside of Canada, import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are not included in the product price or shipping and handling cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility as we are only charging the transportation fee for your order. You may check with your country’s customs office to determine if there will be additional costs.

Replacement Pulleys available for any PL1 owners experiencing rope slippage

An oversight in our QC process recently led to us missing a recurring issue with some of the pulleys from our latest order. While they performed well during our bench test, in the field units would slip on new ropes well before reaching stall. We had previously tested a sample of the latest batch of pulleys on both old and new rope, but the small sample didn't reveal any issues at that time. We'll be reworking all of the pulleys in stock and adjusting our bench test process to ensure we don't miss any issues like this in the future.

We will be reaching out to customers we suspect may be affected, and will replace the pulleys for any customers who reach out about this issue. The pulleys are easily replaced and we're available to guide any customers through the process.
