Ski season is on!

The West has been getting hammered by storm after storm. In fact, here in BC it has been the snowiest November in 19 years since the Monster season of 2005/06. On this American Thanksgiving weekend, we're giving thanks for our PL1's and getting access to a ton of pre-resort-opening powder laps. Now is it just us, or in an unsettled world, does a fresh blanket of snow do a world of good to quiet the noise, and bring friends, family, neighbours and strangers together to let go, exhale and simply play. Here's to a long winter of play!

"The snow doesn’t give a soft white damn whom it touches. It falls equally on all, covering the world in a blanket of quiet magic, inviting us to pause, play, and marvel at its fleeting beauty."
— Inspired by E.E. Cummings

2. Production Update:

We're in the process of sourcing new Zoa branded rope bags for this season, and the samples that we've got look pretty slick.
At the end of the day, the PL1 is used to quickly, efficiently and neatly re-pack your rope into the rope bags for easy stowing in your backpack.

3 . Trade Tariffs?

We are a Canadian company based in Vancouver, BC. Following the recent US election result, a potential 25% tariff has been suggested on products being shipped into the United States. This would represent a roughly $430 USD increase in the cost of a PL1 for Americans. We can’t say for sure how this issue will play out and when, but if you have been thinking about buying a PL1, you may want to move sooner than later to avoid the potential future trade tariffs.

4. Canada Post Strike

On November 15th, Canada Post went on strike essentially stopping all non-private-courier shipments from moving in Canada. While we do not ship our PL1's to customers through Canada Post, some of our parts arrive through Canada Post. This may cause some delays in processing orders. Our apologies, and we hope for all small businesses that the strike can be resolved promptly.
