Factory Reconditioned PL1 units, are rebuilt and tested to meet the same standards as any PL1. Units may incorporate superseded components that remain suitable for use and do not compromise the product’s functionality or performance. Units may have minor cosmetic imperfections.

The Zoa PL1 portable backcountry rope tow system fits in a backpack and gets skiers and snowboarders more laps of their favourite zones. Designed, built and tested by skiers in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

The Complete Package includes:

To use the PL1 skiers and splitboarders must anchor the paracord at the top of the chosen slope using the snow picket. Lay out the rope to the bottom of your run, and attach the PL1 anywhere along the rope. Turn it on and press the throttle to ascend. When you reach the top, detach the PL1 from the rope and stash it in your pack.

Shipping Terms

Shipments within Canada

Shipments will be sent with FedEx Ground, DHL, or CanadaPost depending on your order. We are unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes, and require a full physical street address. For express shipping or local pickup please contact us

Shipments to the USA

The PL1 is made in Canada and CUSMA/USMCA compliant. Shipments containing batteries will be sent with FedEx ground, except for shipments to Alaska or Hawaii which will use DHL Express. We are unable to deliver to P.O., APO or FPO Boxes, and require a full physical street address, including phone number. Brokerage fees and duties or tariffs are included in the cost of shipping. 

All imports over $2500 USD value need formal entry and will require you to share your personal or business information with customs. You may be contacted by the shipping company acting as broker.

Other International Shipments

All other international shipments are shipped with FedEx Express. Duties and Taxes are charged at checkout and shipments are delivered duty paid (DDP). We require phone numbers for all international shipments. Zoa is unable to mark items as "gifts".
